Working in conjunction with schools, families and community organizations, IAI's goal is to lead others to successful thinking, instilling positive values with educational enrichment that will enhance not only their personal lives but our communities as well.

The 2002 Atlanta Invitational Classic
 A fundraising event, featuring The Second Annual Atlanta Invitational Basketball Classic, was held November 22-23, 2002, at The Morehouse College Forbes Arena.

Participating schools included: Westlake High School vs. Marietta High; Morehouse College in an exhibition game vs. Georgia All Stars; and Georgia State University vs. North Carolina A&T State University. Festivities began on Friday November 22, 2002 with a kick-off reception honoring prominent Artist Mr. Charles Bibbs, who unveiled a commemorative poster in support of Investment Atlanta Inc. This event was proceeded by both a silent and live Art auction. A free Prostate and Colon Screening was provided in a special section of the arena sponsored by St. Joseph Hospital & Georgia Colon & Rectal Association. Harold Ellis, advance scout for the Atlanta Hawks was the guest speaker at the Team Welcome Brunch on Saturday morning at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.
